Generation of MusicBy Adia M

What type of music do you think teens listen to today? There are so many types of genres in the world and there are a variety of people who listen to them as well.
An English teacher from Binghamton High School, Mrs. Alston, says that she feels that her students reflect a positive diversity to the kids she teaches. She also feels that when kids listen to their favorite music they have an escape route away from everything. A global teacher from Binghamton High, Mrs. Drivas, also agrees that music has a positive effect on kids that she has in her class. She also said that music makes teens feel alive and fills their bodies with emotion either good or bad. Also, it makes them feel like they are not alone and they can relate to the lyrics and that the singers are talking directly to them. The last teacher was a music teacher from Binghamton High, Mrs. Bachman, and she said that she agreed with the other teachers that music has an effect on kids and it is important to her and the kids that she teaches in chorus.
Three students from Binghamton High also had things to say about music. Gabby Shepard said that she agreed with what the teachers had to say and she also said that it helps teens express themselves and be who they want to be. Another girl, Rachel Jones, said that she also agreed and said that certain types of music affect her mood and the way she feels and expresses herself in that particular moment in time. The last student, Alexis Daniels, on the other hand disagrees with everyone because she feels certain music has a bad effect on students and also affects their school performance.
All of these people and many more agree that music has an effect on people wither its good or bad.
